This week at TBL, like everywhere, it was hot, hot, hot but we have the lake ( HA HA ). Fishing was on and off this week but did pick up a lot yesterday.  We did get two very nice walleyes with Terry Hawkins MT 30 inches  and Tom Miller PA 29.5 inches . We did have many guys catching very nice smallmouth bass this week and one of our remote pike lakes is still going very strong . At the fish fry this week we did have many  Tabarnac Awards, with some very funny ones like people falling in the lake at the dock , some getting stuck on the lake with a boat and motor in A-one condition, etc... We will have many new accomodations at the lodge in 2011. One of them is going to be a new set up ( on the point ) for the fish fry and the spit . This new set up will make it a lot easier and nicer for us at the fish fry, rain or shine, and it will be set up so that any of our customers that want to use it will be able to do so. We are planning on having a counter with sink ,water, propane burner, fire place, spit and all of this under a roof right on the point by the lake. This will make our cookout and yours a lot more fun. The months of  May and June are already gone and are booked at about 75% capacity for 2011 . This year at TBL was one of our best ever and I think 2011 is going to be even better yet . If bookings keep on going like that, we will be booked a lot earlier in the year than usual . Thats not even counting on all of the new services and improvements that we have planned for 2011.  This should help us even more to book trips in the future . So do not wait too long to reserve your stay with us for 2011 or 2012.
