Dear Customers and friends,

We still had very hot days this week and only the lake made it a little more bearable. We had a no show this week so we just finished our last deck on cabin 6. Talking about the no show, every year we get some of them and some don't even call which is very hard on our business . When we know a little in advance, we are able to offer some of you some last minute deals.  The decks have become one of the things people ask about the most, with all of the sun and breeze that they provide for our customers these cabins are getting to be some of the most popular ones. Slowly but surely our new games at the lodge are getting more popular every week, with more and more people taking avantage of them. The new deck over the water is also getting very popular with it's lounge chairs and it's proximity to the water.  Fishing wise, we had a lot of  very nice fish caught  this week and everybody is  happy and having fun.  More and more of our customers in the summer are families and most of them, after coming here one year, keep on coming back years after year.  The reason for that is very simple, I think, when you look at what it costs for a family to spend 7 days here with the possibility of cooking all their meals, having access to the boats, the lake , the beach , the different games at TBL , fishing , excursions all over the county ( the falls , old trading post , golf , etc... ) . That is why a lot of our regular customers are bringing their families here for their summer trip . The picnic was a great success again this week with most of the people there telling us how much they like the new way of doing our gettogether and the new location on the deck at the dining hall . The best fish of the week were caught by Linda Miller , Jon Earnst  , Ian Lubetsky , Rich Oldham , and Scott Helmer  .  Linda, with her 34 inch 15 1/2 lb walleye (catch and releas¨) is going to be hard to beat unless somebody catches the same one and ties it.  Jon Eranst with his 27 inch 8 lb walleye was second (not bad for second) . Ian Lubetsky had a 27 inch 7 1/2 lb walleye . Scott Helmer and his 26 inch 6 1/2 lbs was third . Rich Oldham also caught a 18 inch 5 lbs smallmouth bass . All together we did good this week , even with the warm weather, and it is getting better every day .
