Dear customers and friends

This week at TBL the cooler nights have started. Most of our customers have put on their big sweatshirts to go out fishing . It is my favorite time of the year . We had some old customers coming back to TBL last week and some more this week . Ray Johns and is partner Steve Decatur were back at TBL after a few years.  We were glad to see them back . Mr Johns said that he could not believe all that we improved in the last few years . This year at TBL we saw a lot of customers come back after a few years of absence .  I guess we are doing something right up here , or like some of them told us, they really love this area , this lake and our lodge and the only thing that kept them away for a few years were family matters or economcs. We are very happy to see all of you back and hope to see some of you back next year. This week was also a week for some spécial guests that were with us for the first time . We had as a customer Frank LeMaster former linebacker and all-pro from the  Philadelphia Eagles , Keith Krepfle  former tight-end from the Phidadelphia Eagles ,  Jim LeMaster a fomer all-american basketball player from the U of Kentucky  and also Steve Levy a  newscaster from  Philadelphia.  I dont want to talk about this too long, but I do have to say this: the LeMaster party had 10 persons at our lodge and as a big group with some célébities in it , I have never seen people that nice , that respectable and that polite , I guess thats what you call class . From the first and last person in that group everyone was a gentelmen .  Fishing wise we had some very good days and some note as good . All of our regulars did good or very good and some of our new customers did not do as good . Pete Riffle did very good catching a 44 inche 26 lbs pike, topping  his last week 42 incher.   The LeMaster party caught many lake trout and released many of them, some wantingly and some not,  Ha Ha !  Walleye wise many of them were caught but not really big ones.   Bass fishing was very bad this week and seems to be a lot harder as we get later in the season,   Its funny to see this after all of the fantastic bass fishing we had all year. We had some real bass fishermen here this week and they could not find them. We are going to start the month of september this week and we hope that the weather is going to be nice , but I guess, with Irene coming, it may rain alot . I hope that all of you on the coast will be ok , good luck to you all!  We will be thiking of you .

Customer Comments:  Frank LeMaster:  our best fishing trip ever and great accomodations.  Ray Johns cannot beleve all of the improvements made here in the last few years. Peter Lapiere: I did many fishing lodges in the last 20 years cant belive all there is to do here and how much we get for that little money.

Thanks

Yves
