Dear customers and freinds

Well the hot weather is not the best for fishing, we all know that ,  but here is something new.  It got so hot in the last few weeks that some of the outfitters on lake Kipawa got to the point that they had to try to put down our Lodge in order ( so he thinks ) to sell a few trips. I hope the fish are going to bite a lot very soon , so that this new outtfitter can go back to his job and stop his little game .  The Lake here is a fantastic lake and has produced, over the years, many many good souvenirs and very good fishing and fun for most of our customers . I was born here in Laniel and my family always made a living here by respecting everything and everybody and doing our best to take care of our business and customers and leaving everybody else alone to do their things. We have never ever put down anybody or anything in order to sell a few trips or to make a few dollars.   I guess that one of the new outtfiters has to spit on others and prostitute himself pricewise in order to sell trip. Well, we wont get into this here at TBL and anybody that knows me knows that when I have a problem with something or   , I take care of it face to face and not in a hippocrits way  in peoples backs . Some very britght new outfitter has decided to try to put us down for no reason.   That will show us not to trust or help new outfitters any more . I am not going to apologize for having a very good lodge, well run and with verry good guides at fishing and hunting  . I gues the new outfitter is going to have to put the time in before he can know what we know. So far as fishing this week , we are not doing as well as we would like but we are not doing so bad.   Some days are good, some not as good.  It has been on and off for most of our regulars . The best walleyes this week were caught by one of our regular customers and one not so regular . Dick Sechrist and is 30 inche 10 lbs walleye was the bigger one and he was followed verry close by Sam Lewis with one 29 1/2 inches and 10lbs  . The funny part about this is that Dick is seventy  and has been with us for 18 years and   Sam Lewis have been with us for 1year and is 11 year old.   Sam also caught a lake trout 28 inches and 9 lbs . I guess it is true that youths are taking over at TBL .  Most of our customers like to bring their kid    s here because we have so many things to do besides  fishing , like  canoing , paddle boating,  horseshoe pit , washer game , volleyball court , natural beach , and access to many local tourist attraction . Many other fish were caught  this week like the two 18 inche bass caught by Rich Oldham . Many other fish were caught  in good numbers but not as much as we would like . A lot of our remote pike lakes did verry good this week so I guess that altogether we did not do to bad.

Customer comments : Ed & Mickey Gritz said that they were never saw cabins like these in a fishing or hunting lodge . Rich and Ellen Oldham really enjoyed their first time Lake Trouting.  On their first run, Rich hooked and promptly lost a fish and Ellen hooked a BIG Laker but lost it when the line broke.  They have fished here for walleyes for many years  and have just discovered our great laker fishing.

Thanks

Yves
