Dear Customers and Friends,

This week at TBL fishing was great for most of our customers.  Actually it was fantastic for some and great for others.  We had a few families last week and a few this week and a lot more coming in the next months. A lot of these families come here at TBL for the fun and excitement of their annual fishing trip. Many of them choose TBL because of how easy it is to get to and how peaceful it is at the same time. But some of the main reasons are also for our great facilities good service and how secure it is being close to a road that you can drive out by at anytime of the day or night. All of this being on one of the most beautiful lake in Canada, what more can you ask for. More and more families come to TBL in july and august to get a taste of the Kipawa magic, all of this in a great cottage and a clean and safe environement.

Fishing for walleyes was out of this world for most of our customers this week with many many walleyes over 26 inches caught and 5 of them being over 30 inches . The Kennedy’s and McClimon’s family did very good on there first time with us with a lot of those big walleyes under there belt. Bass fishing was great also with the biggess bass reported at 20 1/2 inches caught by Steve R. PA . Note to many big pike and lake trout reported but many of them were caught and release. Fishing  as been great for the last 4 weeks and so far as hunting this season was one of our best in the last 15 years.  All of these new territories and the money injected in our hunts sure is paying off.

As we have told you in the last weekly update a few things are going to change for the next season with our pike lake , our picnic , Lake trout equipement and a few other things. These many few change will make everything simpler for you and us and will help us keep our prices the same for the 5th year in a roll. With all we provide and the quality of our lodging and equipement at TBL you are sure to get your money worth.

WOW LAST MINUTE THING  HAPPENED THIS MORNING AT TBL.  WE WERE TOLD THAT TWO OF OUR BOATS WENT OUT FISHING THIS MORNING BEFORE THEY LEFT.  WHICH, IF IT IS TRUE, MADE THEM ILLEGALS BECAUSE THERE FISHING LICENSES WERE EXPIRED.  THAT IS WHY THERE IS NO FISHING ON THE DAY OF YOUR DEPARTURE.  PLEASE MAKE SURE NOT TO DO THAT, BECAUSE YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR POACHING AND YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR ONE EXTRA DAY AT THE LODGE.

Thanks

Yves
