Dear Customers and friends,
This week at TBL we had a lot of SmallMouth Bass fishermen . One group went out one afternoon and caught and released 12 bass totaling over 50 lbs . Many other fishermen reported having caught and released over 20 Smallmouth in a day . Among those we had Mike Miller with 4 Bass over 19 inches , one of them being 20 inches & 6lbs . We also had Phyllis Shearer with a 19 1/2 incher , Carl Young with a 19 incher , Roger Miller with a 19 inchesr, Etc … Walleye fishing was a little slow because of the heat wave we had this week , but even so many walleyes were caught but just no trophies. Numerous lake trout were also caught as we had a few novices try their luck at it . I guess if we would have had some real lake trout fishermen this week they would of done great . One customer realy did good on Northen Pike this week , and all of this because he tried , wich makes me think that it is always good when people try fishing for them . Families realy enjoyed spending the week swimming in the cool and clear water of Lake Kipawa . Everybody also enjoyed all of our outdoor facilities at each cabin , such as our gas grills , fire pits , picnic tables etc.. Again this week return customers and new ones were impressed with the decks on the cabins . We do have a great spécial on a 7 day stay on the week of August 31st to September 7th .
