Dear Customers and Friends

ALERT !  ALERT !!  ALERT !!!

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WILL HAVE TO STROP ON THE US SIDE OF THE BORDER TO REGISTER YOUR GUN JUST LIKE YOU DO ON THE CANADIAN SIDE . THIS IS A NEW THING FROM THE US GOVERNEMENT STATING THIS YEAR . IF YOU ARE JUST DRIVING IN TO CANADA  A  FORM SHOULD BE AT THE BODER FOR YOU TO FILE OUT on the US side . PLEASE DO CHECK WITH YOUR US CUSTOMS BEFORE YOUR TRIP . ACTUALY YOU SHOULD DO IT NOW ( Check with your US Customs ) TO AVOID PROBLEM . WE ARE NOT SURE THIS WILL ALL BE INFORCE THIS YEAR BUT DO CHECK WITH PROPER CUSTOMS PEOPLE .

WE ARE GETTING DIFFERENT STORY HERE IN CANADA ABOUT ALL OF THIS AND ONE IS THAT IT WILL NOT BE INFORCE THAT MUCH THIS YEAR , BUT DO CHECK NOW TO MAKE SURE .

THIS IS MORE INFO WE GOT FROM OTHER PEOPLE :

We just got inform about a new requirement for traveling from the US with Firearms / ammunition . You must of heard about it ? i have talk to a few customers in the US and learned that hunters with firearms and ammunition need to apply for an EEI ( Electronic Export Information ) on internet in order to obtain the INT number ( Internal Transaction Number ) . We dont know more about it , but we stronly sugees that you take time to get and answer from your side of the border . We have a few link where you can get info from . We also suggess that you check with the NRA and SCI wich should have all the info about that . We also think you shoold check the US custom or border personel .

Here is a few link to help you out . https://www.nraila.org/articles/20150320/rule-change-may-devastate-international-travel-for-hunters-and-shooters

https://www.ice.gov/cpi/faq

Supposedly that when appliying for the EEI number with in 4 days , you will receive an itn number wich is the number you need .

Also heard about a form call SS4 Form – Application . Here is the link :   http://www.irs.gov/uac/Form-SS-4-Application-for-Employer-Identification-Number-(EIN)

i dont know if this form is a form to use or not .

Thanks

Yves
