Dear Customers and Friends
This week at TBL we had a lot of regular customers and a few new ones. Fishing went from good to very good and then back to normal for most of our customers. One of our old tradition came back this week and the week before, we had picnics the last two weeks to thank our long time customers for their support throughout the years. Even if it is a lot of work it is always nice when we have that many people attending. Note that we do this only when we have a lot of regular customers in camp which we know are going to participate.
Again this week we had a lot of very nice walleyes caught and released with fish ranging from 13 to 31 inches. Many walleyes were in between 21 to 27 inches. This means a lot of nice sized walleyes will be available for reproduction in the years to come; many little walleyes are expected in the next few years! Kipawa lake was always a great lake for fishing a lot of different species like lake trout, walleye, smallmouth bass and northern pike. Now it is getting even better every year. This week one of our regular customer and long-time friend Bob Yockey caught is all time biggest walleye with a 33 inches walleye that kept on getting bigger as the week went on.
We have a lot of repeat customers here at TBL and some time it is hard to get new customers in camp because we are so busy. I guess it is a good problem to have. These past weeks we were full of regular customers with many of them that were on or near their 30th year at the lodge.
Make sure to reserve early for your first or next trip with us at TBL.
Thanks
Yves
